"After several years of trying to fulfil the responsibilities of this position and generate some enthusiasm within the county for the trap disciplines, I've come to the conclusion that I'm "flogging a dead horse". Consequently I regret to inform you that I no longer feel able to carry on as County Trap Manager".

In a county where the huge majority are out and out sporting shooters I can sympathise with Tony's frustrations, it just remains for me to thank him for his sterling efforts in trying to get Beds shooters at both regional and county events.

 The committee will decide on the way forward at the next committtee meeting.
