Bedfordshire's first championship of the year saw Steve Leonard take another county title in the seniors with steady scoring on all four of the sporttrap layouts at Sporting Targets.  Steve was 5 clear of nearest challenger Andrew Clifton who challenge fell foul of the sun in the tricky 122 layout,  Stewart Earl came in third with a very good 80.  In Vets it was John Sparow who led the way with Ian Porter and Pete Green both within a couple of targets.  Sally Wootton took the ladies title unopposed and no Juniors entered the shoot.  Thanks to Sporting Targets for staging the event and I would like to point out with only 22 competition entries over £300 was paid in prize money.  Full results for every shooter and details of the pay out can be found at Sporting Targets web site
