East Midlands Inter-Counties FITASC Championships 30th October 2011, Lakenheath Bedfordshire went to Lakenheath armed with senior, veteran and junior teams on Sunday 30th to battle it out against the other counties in our Region. Pete Usher and his team at Lakenheath put on a very good shoot which ran smoothly and flowed well resulting in the squads finishing ahead of schedule. Shot over the 3 layout, 6 peg 100 target competition designed by John Dyson, the course was very interesting with some testing targets and interesting pairs, John as always did a great job and everyone enjoyed the course with many favourable comments heard afterwards. Our juniors, Dave Ferriman (76) & Joe Heast (80) took the junior team title, well done lads & they never stopped talking about it all the way home!! Veterans; Fredd Kidd (82) Jim Munday (82) John Stanton (82) and Roger Bravery (62) shot well as a team (164) and came second to Cambs (167) by only 3 targets, well done to you guys.
