Bedfordshire County Skeet Championship

It was nice to see that this years Championship was well attended, I think everyone will agree that the wind played havoc with the targets causing problems for all who shot. After being runner up for a number of years the championship was won by Pete Lee with a score of 96, Pete shot consistently throughout but dropped 2 targets on the last layout under the eyes of the current leaders and team mates.

Steve Whinnett, Bert Mason and P Coxall all put in scores of 95; Steve and Bert had a shoot off for 2nd place with Steve coming through the winner.
Gill Whinnett won the ladies title with a score of 86, closely followed by Jacquie Tobitt with a 79.

After another shoot off between Trevor Sharp and Peter Green, Peter won the Veterans class after a well-contested day.
